POLYMERIZATION OVENS

The polymerization or curing ovens are placed immediately after the paint application.

It is usually the last stage in the paint process, unloading parts of the conveyor after natural or forced cooling.

They are usually made of 150 mm thick insulated panels as the interior temperature does not exceed 220 ºC.

They can also be manufactured in other thicknesses when the characteristics of the paint require a higher polymerization temperature.

The heat input will be installed in accordance with the availability: diesel, natural gas or propane, electricity, cogeneration, etc...

There are different oven configurations depending on the type of parts:

  • Convection
  •  Radiation (IR)
  • Induction
  • Ultraviolet (UV)
